Ms Prabhakaran's 'visit' turns rumour

Rameswaram, Jan 9 (UNI) Anxious moments prevailed at Sri Lankan Tamil refugee camp at Mandapam here today as rumours of LTTE Supremo V Prabhakaran's wife P Mathivathani's visit to the camp spread.

It was speculated that Ms Mathivathani, who had 'arrived' from Sri Lanka, would visit the camp.

As the news spread wild, newspersons thronged the camp.

However, when contacted by UNI, a police official rubbished it as 'just a rumour'.

Police in mufti were monitoring the development, he added.
